New fun fast paced game for family and friends from Spin Master!
A simple, always fun guessing game "Who am I?" takes on new meaning with Hedbanz! Do you think you will be the first to guess who you are (and this is shown on your head)? If you can, then you win! The goal is to find out who or what you are by asking the players questions before the clock runs out of sand. Simple gameplay, humor and creative critical thinking.
Headbanz is a game where everyone knows you except yourself!
The set has everything kids (and adults) need for non-stop fun, including a Headbans rule sheet, 74 cards, 24 chips, 6 plastic headbands (adjustable to size) and a one-minute hourglass timer.
In fact, there are three versions of this game (they differ slightly in characteristics):
The Hedbanz game comes with a stack of picture cards, each showing an animal, food, or object with a common Hedbanz Board Game meaning. There are few categories, the pictures are relatively simple, so it will be interesting to play even for small children. You will be racing against... a one minute sand timer. Each round plays out very quickly, building up energy and challenging your wits.
Ask questions to guess your personality, make wild guesses without complicated rules. And if you don’t have enough cards from the game, just draw your own!
After the cards and three chips have been dealt (to each player), take your card and place it in the adjustable headband without looking at what is on it. Everyone can see your card except you. The map has an illustration in addition to describing what it is. The pictures are understandable even to children who do not yet know how to read.
When it's your turn, ask each player a question about who or what you are (am I food?). If you get stuck and can't move on, the sample question map comes to your rescue: it offers tips on the types of questions you can ask.
When you hear "yes", your questions become more specific (Am I cooked?, did we eat this today?) until you're ready to guess the answer (I'm spaghetti!).
Each time you guessed correctly, remove one of your three tokens.
If you guess your card correctly before the sand comes out of the hourglass, you'll get rid of the game piece and continue playing the round with the new card until your minute is up. The game then moves on to the next player. If a card stumped you and you didn't guess within a minute, you wait for the next round and keep holding that card on your head until you guess it correctly. If you give up, you will take another chip from the chip bank and get a new card instead of this one.
The first player to get rid of all their chips is the Hedbanz winner.
Hedbanz is not only fun, it's also useful. Children will develop their deductive reasoning skills. Playing with a simple question and answer premise helps a lot with this. By making connections and coming up with questions that lead to answers, children will also practice creative critical thinking skills.
